Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether individually or on behalf of an entity you, and SBS Dress Hire our regarding your access to and use of the www.sbsdresshire.com.au website and any associated media, including mobile websites, applications, or related channels (collectively, the Site). By accessing the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must immediately cease using the Site.

Bookings

  • Bookings are confirmed only when the full booking fee is paid.
  • Bookings can be made directly via our website.
  • We accept bookings up to four months in advance.

Postage & Returns

  • The standard rental period is 4 days, with the item due for return by the close of business on the final day of the booking (or the next working day if the return date falls on a Sunday or public holiday).
  • We offer interstate postage, and garments will be sent in an Express Post satchel along with a prepaid return satchel.
  • SBS Dress Hire is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post.
  • The rented garment must be returned by 2:00 PM on the fourth day using the provided return satchel at the Post Office.
  • Customers must retain and provide a lodgement receipt from the Post Office as proof of return.
  • Customers must notify SBS Dress Hire of any delays in returning the item.
  • If the postage fee differs based on the garment’s weight, customers should inform us, and we will include an appropriately addressed return envelope.
  • Late returns incur a fee of $50 per day, charged to the credit card used at the time of booking.
  • If a garment is not returned within 7 days of the return date, SBS Dress Hire will treat it as non-returned and charge the customer’s credit card 200% of the item’s original retail price, in addition to the rental fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect sizing.

Product/Fit

  • Our garments may show signs of wear due to previous hires. We do our best to maintain their condition, and you can request additional images of the garment before booking.

Dry Cleaning

  • SBS Dress Hire will dry clean the garment before the garment is sent to you.
  • Customers agree not to dry clean, iron, or alter the garment themselves.
  • While all garments are carefully cleaned and inspected, SBS Dress Hire is not liable for any health-related complaints associated with the garments, as they have been previously worn.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Items

  • Customers must take reasonable care of the rented item.
  • In the event of loss, theft, or damage, SBS Dress Hire will assess the garment and determine the repair costs.
  • If an item is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, the customer is fully responsible for replacing the garment, which may cost up to 200% of the original retail price, in addition to the rental fee.

Clearance Sale Items

  • All clearance items are final sale. No refunds or exchanges will be issued.
  • Clearance sale items are ex-rentals and may show signs of wear.
  • These items are for purchase only, not for hire.

Credit Notes

  • Credit notes must be used before their expiration date. SBS Dress Hire will not extend credit notes past their expiry date.
  • Credit notes are non-refundable.
